{"id":37471,"date":"2019-07-02T09:22:34","date_gmt":"2019-07-02T09:22:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=37471"},"modified":"2019-07-02T09:22:34","modified_gmt":"2019-07-02T09:22:34","slug":"Alphabetization for hundreds of children in Raqqa ","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/37471\/","title":{"rendered":"Alphabetization for hundreds of children in Raqqa"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><b><font face=\"georgia\" color=\"#000000\">Al-Raqqa \u2013 North-Press Agency&nbsp;<\/font><\/b><\/div>\n<div><b><font face=\"georgia\" color=\"#000000\">Ahmad Al-Hassan \/ Abdul-Rahman Al-Jasem<\/font><\/b><\/div>\n<div><font face=\"georgia\" color=\"#000000\"><br \/><\/font><\/div>\n<div><font face=\"georgia\" color=\"#000000\">600 children have finished their educational program about alphabetization in several centers of humanitarian organizations in Raqqa on Sunday.&nbsp;<\/font><\/div>\n<div><font face=\"georgia\" color=\"#000000\"><br \/><\/font><\/div>\n<div><font face=\"georgia\" color=\"#000000\">New Horizons Organization held a graduation party for 260 children after 6 months of an educational course in its center.&nbsp;<\/font><\/div>\n<div><font face=\"georgia\" color=\"#000000\"><br \/><\/font><\/div>\n<div><font face=\"georgia\" color=\"#000000\">During the rule of Islamic State on their city, children of Raqqa experienced ideas that affected their mentality and they were cut off schools as a result of the battle between ISIS and Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) at that time.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/font><\/div>\n<div><font face=\"georgia\" color=\"#000000\"><br \/><\/font><\/div>\n<div><font face=\"georgia\" color=\"#000000\">&#8220;Those graduated children experienced an alphabetization program level 4, they received education according to Autonomous Administration&#8217;s curricula that include an intensive educational program in order to capture what they missed during the recent years,&#8221; Muhammad Al-Mousa, the manager of New Horizons Organization told North-Press.<\/font><\/div>\n<div><font face=\"georgia\" color=\"#000000\"><br \/><\/font><\/div>\n<div><font face=\"georgia\" color=\"#000000\">&nbsp;Adding that among the graduated, there is also a group of children with special needs who received their education in order to integrate them within society.&nbsp;<\/font><\/div>\n<div><font face=\"georgia\" color=\"#000000\"><br \/><\/font><\/div>\n<div><font face=\"georgia\" color=\"#000000\">For his part, Issa Al-Sheikh, a representative in the Bureau of Special Needs in Raqqa Civil Council, said in his speech in the graduation party that &#8220;These courses are a necessity to erase the ideas of the war that have been suspended in the minds of children.&#8221;&nbsp;<\/font><\/div>\n<div><font face=\"georgia\" color=\"#000000\"><br \/><\/font><\/div>\n<div><font face=\"georgia\" color=\"#000000\">He added that those children had learned values, morals and loving each other along with educational programs such as reading and calculating.&nbsp;<\/font><\/div>\n<div><font face=\"georgia\" color=\"#000000\"><br \/><\/font><\/div>\n<div><font face=\"georgia\" color=\"#000000\">The party included plays inspired from educational programs for illiterate children, those who were in charge of the party, awarded honorary certificates for the superiors in alphabetization course with the presence of a number of the people of Al-Jezra neighborhood.
