north-Press Agency<br \/>\nHadeel Oueiss<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">Dr. James Carafano, the Vice President of the Kathryn and Shelby Cullom Institute for International Studies at the Heritage Foundation wrote that since the last announcement of its withdrawal from the Syrian territories last October, the United States hasn&#39;t really withdrawn.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">\nDr. James Carafano believes that the issue of the total withdrawal from conflicts which affect the United States&rsquo; national security and which hasn&#39;t been accomplished, such as the situation in Afghanistan or Syria, will determine the shape of the U.S. wars and interests, but not a passing electoral promise.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">On the other hand, a number of researchers from the Institute of &quot;Security Studies&quot; in the United States agree that Washington still has many goals and interests in Syria, especially with the deteriorating situation in Iraq and the recent announcement by the United States of its fears of the recent developments in Iraq, especially the ballistic missiles which Iran&rsquo;s affiliated groups are storing, which began targeting the U.S. influence in Iraq periodically, without having sufficient capabilities in Iraq to secure its interests or even start fighting the remaining sleeper cells of the Islamic State (ISIS) in Syria and Iraq, which the institute estimated their number to be at least 30,000 militants, in addition to their families and tens of thousands of al-Qaeda militants and other extremist organizations such as &quot;Hurras al-Din&quot; (guardians of religion).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">For his part, the American political researcher Seth Jones said at a conference held by the Institute for &quot;Security Studies&quot;: &quot;The Russian ambition in the region and Russia&#39;s attempts to pressure to reduce the U.S. military presence is expected in front of the recent U.S. strategy.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">\nHe continued that this isn&#39;t only applied to the growing relationship of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) with Russia, but it also reflects on the old strategic allies of the United States that they see in the Russian presence as a sustainable presence and capable of achieving goals in the region, such as the relationship between Israel and Russia to achieve Israel&#39;s goals from air strikes against Iranian groups on Syrian territories, and Russia&#39;s relationship with Jordan, Turkey, Lebanon and other allies of the United States. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">\nJones pointed to the tone of concern he heard from governmental officials in the Middle East following the U.S. announcement of its withdrawal from Syria, where the withdrawal wasn&#39;t only a source of concern to the allies, but also the method of announcing the withdrawal, which the officials of the closest countries to the United States didn&#39;t know that through diplomatic lines, but rather through Trump&#39;s sudden announcement on social media, which created questions regarding the mechanism of strategic decision-making in the United States, as this forces the allies today to choose to communicate and coordinate more with the other major power in the Middle East, which is Russia, whose presence and strategic goals in the region seem sustainable in front of the U.S. presence, which seems troubled and unreliable.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><strong>Military Researcher: &ldquo;U.S. disregarding the importance of staying in the region is more costly than withdrawal<\/strong><strong>&rdquo;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">Within the framework of the conference of the &quot;Security Studies&quot;
