The American historian and writer Daniel Pipes told North-Press: “My view regarding Turkey’s future is pessimistic, while there was a government opinion in the United States towards Turkey arguing that it is an old ally and that Erdogan will not rule Turkey forever, and Turkey will return as a true ally, but I see others hold a rational opinion in America, that Turkey has changed and is no longer an ally, and that Turkey’s vision as an ally is an emotional and incorrect vision.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIn addition, that it has become a threat to the region and the world as it is moving towards a model closer to the Venezuelan one, where there will be hunger, divisions, crises, refugees fleeing the country and dire conditions,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Pipes added; “Erdogan is an Islamic, and in the beginning between the years 2003 \u2013 2011 he was cautious and concealed this fact, but after 2011 he became clear, where he worked to strengthen the Muslim Brotherhood groups in the experiments that all failed in Libya, Egypt and other Arab countries, the same to what he is doing in Syria now”.<\/p>\n
Pipes pointed out that despite Erdogan’s total control over Turkey, where the media, banks and education are under his full control, part of the Turkish people reject this reality and know that their country is going to a terrible model of bankruptcy and isolation along the lines of the Venezuelan model, which does not only reduce Erdogan’s popularity in Turkey but also the models and ideas of the political Islam are losing popularity in all countries of the region, while inside turkey in conjunction with this decline the Turkish currency and economy lose their value.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
