The Turkish political analyst Yusuf Kateboglu told North-Press via a phone call that Turkey is sending reinforcements to its observation posts in northwestern Syria only to ensure that the ceasefire truce is not violated, as there will be no military operations in the de-escalation zones, because of the Turkish-Russian understandings.<\/p>\n

“The Syrian regime and those who support it are seeking to do so, as Russia does not allow the protection of some 4 million civilian, who live in the de-escalation zones in northwestern Syria\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n

“If Russia or other countries are not satisfied with some groups, it does not mean shedding the blood of 4 million people in the \u200b\u200bde-escalation zones and Idlib through a military operation,” Kateboglu added.<\/p>\n

He said that Turkey is directly concerned with what is happening in the region because hundreds of thousands of displaced Syrians have accumulated on the Turkish borders, because of shelling by the Syrian government forces on Hama northern countryside and Idlib southern countryside.<\/p>\n

Regarding the Turkish response in case one of its military posts in the de-escalation zones is bombed, Kateboglo said that the Turkish observation posts were based on understandings and agreements signed between Russia, Iran and Turkey in Astana talks, and “Russia pledged to protect\u201d.<\/p>\n

He added:, “These points are international agreement, and therefore, no one will dare to target them and if it happened, it will be reciprocated, as the source of the fire would be targeted\u201d.<\/p>\n

The political analyst Yusuf Kateboglu concluded that all developments indicate that there will be no military attack on the de-escalation zones, “because this will generate a real international crisis against what have been agreed upon, and this is a foregone conclusion\u201d, he said.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
