embed;\"><font size=\"4\" color=\"#000000\">Furthermoe, Hammoud said&nbsp; that the contract with Russia for the investment of Tartous port ,is a strategic project, which will lead to significant investments that contribute to the reconstruction of Syria and achieve very large economic revenues.<\/font><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: large; background-color: transparent;\">On <\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: large; background-color: transparent;\">the details of the contract, he considered that \/49\/ years, is a natural period <\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: large; background-color: transparent;\">for the investment of strategic projects, and that &#8220;it is a procedure conducted, <\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: large; background-color: transparent;\">globally, in all of contracts for such projects, beside the money that been <\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: large; background-color: transparent;\">invested.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: large; background-color: transparent;\">He <\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: large; background-color: transparent;\">noted that Tartous port will be one of the most important ports on the <\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: large; background-color: transparent;\">Mediterranean Sea.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: large; background-color: transparent;\">Regarding <\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: large; background-color: transparent;\">the port&#8217;s revenues, he said: &#8220;We took 25 % of the revenue, regardless of <\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: large; background-color: transparent;\">expenditures, and this percentage will increase to 35% gradually with the <\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: large; background-color: transparent;\">completion of the port&#8217;s construction,&#8221; adding that Russia&#8217;s investment will <\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: large; background-color: transparent;\">double the Syrian revenue to \/84\/ million dollars a year; more than three doubles <\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: large; background-color:
