{"id":140922,"date":"2026-08-31T10:23:46","date_gmt":"2026-08-31T10:23:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=140922"},"modified":"2026-08-31T10:23:47","modified_gmt":"2026-08-31T10:23:47","slug":"kobani-international-film-festival-prepares-for-seventh-edition-in-germany","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/140922\/","title":{"rendered":"Kobani International Film Festival prepares for seventh edition in Germany"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) \u2013 <\/strong>The preparatory committee for the Kobani International Film Festival on Sunday completed final preparations for the festival\u2019s seventh edition, which will be held in the German city of Gelsenkirchen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Biter Ali, a spokesperson for the festival, said 913 films from 102 countries were submitted for the seventh edition, with events scheduled to begin on Sep. 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ali said the festival had concluded the submission period, noting that the number of films and participating countries reflects the festival\u2019s expanding reach and its ability to attract entries from different parts of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She said the festival adopted stricter selection criteria this year to raise the standard of participating films.
