{"id":140858,"date":"2026-08-29T16:51:19","date_gmt":"2026-08-29T16:51:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=140858"},"modified":"2026-08-29T16:51:20","modified_gmt":"2026-08-29T16:51:20","slug":"russia-claims-capture-of-three-settlements-in-ukraine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/140858\/","title":{"rendered":"Russia claims capture of three settlements in Ukraine"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press)<\/strong> &#8211; Russia\u2019s Defense Ministry said on Saturday that its forces had captured three settlements in Ukraine\u2019s Donetsk and Sumy regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ministry said Russian forces captured Khrapivshchyna in the Sumy region, while units of the Center group took control of Novoandriivka and Rubizhne in the Donetsk region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The claims could not be independently verified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ukraine\u2019s General Staff reported 242 combat clashes with Russian forces over the previous 24 hours as of 8 a.m. Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It said Russian forces carried out 77 airstrikes, dropped 284 guided aerial bombs, launched more than 9,200 kamikaze drones and conducted nearly 3,000 attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ukrainian military also reported Russian airstrikes near Khrapivshchyna in the Sumy region but did not confirm that the settlement had fallen under Russian control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Russian Defense Ministry also said its forces had struck a logistics center in the Kyiv region where components for Ukrainian ballistic missiles were allegedly stored.
