{"id":139973,"date":"2026-08-08T06:48:13","date_gmt":"2026-08-08T06:48:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=139973"},"modified":"2026-08-08T09:04:53","modified_gmt":"2026-08-08T09:04:53","slug":"israeli-forces-release-man-after-raid-in-syrias-quneitra","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/139973\/","title":{"rendered":"Israeli forces release man after raid in Syria&#8217;s Quneitra"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) \u2013<\/strong> Israeli forces on Saturday released a man they had detained during a raid near the town Jubata al-Khashab in the northern countryside of Quneitra, southern Syria, amid repeated Israeli incursions into the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Israeli forces on Friday also entered the villages of Maariya and Kuya in the western countryside of Daraa, firing heavy bursts over residential areas and causing fear among residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Local sources told North Press that Israeli forces raided several homes in Jubata al-Khashab during their incursion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The sources said the raid resulted in the detention of a young man identified as Faisal, who was released several hours later as the forces withdrew from the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The area also witnessed heavy gunfire during the incursion and raid, according to the same sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two days earlier, Israeli forces shelled agricultural land near Samadaniya al-Gharbiya village in central Quneitra, firing three artillery rounds.
