The meeting focused on development needs and priorities for the next phase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two sides explored the implementation of new projects aimed at upgrading infrastructure, strengthening the health and education sectors, supporting local stability, and improving living conditions for residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants also reviewed projects completed in recent months, including the rehabilitation of several schools, livelihood support programs, and development initiatives designed to promote sustainability. They discussed challenges encountered during implementation and ways to address them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both sides stressed the need to maintain close coordination to launch additional projects supporting the recovery process in Hama governorate, secure the necessary funding, and continue implementing existing plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The discussions were held within the framework of the \u201cSyria Without Camps\u201d initiative, established under Presidential Decree No. 59. The initiative\u2019s steering committee previously met with UN Special Rapporteur on the human rights of internally displaced persons Paula Gaviria Betancur to discuss internal displacement in Syria and efforts to ensure the safe and dignified return of displaced people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That meeting also addressed the humanitarian and service-related challenges facing displaced families and ways to strengthen cooperation between Syrian institutions and the United Nations in support of sustainable solutions to the displacement issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>By Atoun Jan<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) \u2013&nbsp;
