QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) \u2013 Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani said on Friday that the attack targeting a passenger bus in the city of Jaramana, in the Damascus countryside, would not derail Syria\u2019s recovery or efforts to rebuild state institutions, stressing that attempts to undermine security and target civilians would not deter Syrians from moving forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a post on X, al-Shaibani extended his condolences to the families of those killed in the bombing and wished the injured a speedy recovery. He said state institutions would continue fulfilling their responsibility to protect citizens, identify those responsible for such crimes, and bring them to justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Turkey and Jordan also condemned the bombing in Jaramana, which killed four people and injured 14 others. Both countries expressed solidarity with Syria, reaffirmed their support for its security and stability, and rejected all forms of violence and terrorism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Turkish Ambassador to Damascus and the Turkish Foreign Ministry\u2019s Special Representative for Syria, Nuh Y\u0131lmaz, said Ankara strongly condemned the attack, stressing that there is no place for terrorism or violence in Syria. He added that Turkey would continue supporting the Syrian people and efforts to strengthen security and stability in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jordan\u2019s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates also condemned the bombing. Ministry spokesperson Ambassador Fouad al-Majali reaffirmed Jordan\u2019s full solidarity with Syria, its government and people, and reiterated the Kingdom\u2019s rejection of any acts aimed at undermining the country\u2019s security and stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Al-Majali reiterated Jordan\u2019s support for Syria\u2019s security, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the safety of its citizens, while extending condolences to the victims\u2019 families and wishing the injured a speedy recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
