He stressed that the only discussions currently taking place involve Oman and are focused on maritime traffic in the Gulf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Earlier, Trump said that his administration had postponed what he described as &#8220;massive attacks&#8221; against Iran after receiving indications that negotiations could resume. He added that talks between the two countries might begin &#8220;very soon&#8221; and described them as Tehran&#8217;s &#8220;last chance&#8221; to reach an agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Baghaei dismissed those remarks, insisting that Iran has not entered into direct negotiations with Washington and that no American delegation is expected in the coming days. According to Iranian officials, contacts with Oman are limited to efforts aimed at establishing temporary safe maritime routes through the Strait of Hormuz, a key corridor for global energy shipments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The conflicting statements come amid continued tensions between the two countries following months of military escalation and repeated threats from both sides.
