{"id":139065,"date":"2026-07-14T12:21:08","date_gmt":"2026-07-14T12:21:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=139065"},"modified":"2026-07-14T12:41:49","modified_gmt":"2026-07-14T12:41:49","slug":"israeli-forces-clear-road-to-military-barracks-in-syrias-daraa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/139065\/","title":{"rendered":"Israeli forces clear road to military barracks in Syria\u2019s Daraa"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>DARAA, Syria (North Press) \u2013<\/strong> Israeli forces on Tuesday withdrew from the western countryside of Daraa, southern Syria, after carrying out a brief incursion to clear a road leading to the al-Jazira military barracks, local sources told North Press.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The sources said an Israeli force, including an armored vehicle and a military bulldozer, advanced into the outskirts of Maariya village in the western countryside of Daraa, where troops opened the road leading to the al-Jazira barracks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The sources added that the force completed the road-clearing operation before withdrawing from the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The sources indicated that during the incursion, Israeli soldiers damaged a motorcycle parked outside a civilian home by opening fire on it. No injuries or arrests were reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The latest operation comes as Israeli forces continue military activity in southern Syria following the collapse of the Assad government in December 2024.
