{"id":138893,"date":"2026-07-07T17:04:19","date_gmt":"2026-07-07T17:04:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=138893"},"modified":"2026-07-07T17:04:20","modified_gmt":"2026-07-07T17:04:20","slug":"interior-ministry-investigates-damascus-explosions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/138893\/","title":{"rendered":"Interior Ministry investigates Damascus explosions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) \u2013<\/strong> Syria\u2019s Interior Ministry said on Tuesday it had begun analyzing surveillance camera footage as part of an investigation into the explosions that struck central Damascus earlier in the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Interior Minister Anas Khattab told the Syrian state-run Al-Ikhbariya TV that most of those injured were members of the Interior Ministry, adding that the injuries were minor except for four people who were undergoing surgery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Khattab said the first explosion occurred at 10:15 a.m., followed by a second blast about eight minutes later.
