{"id":138812,"date":"2026-07-04T17:18:42","date_gmt":"2026-07-04T17:18:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=138812"},"modified":"2026-07-04T17:18:45","modified_gmt":"2026-07-04T17:18:45","slug":"aleppo-women-activists-hold-conference-on-syrian-womens-reality","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/138812\/","title":{"rendered":"Aleppo women activists hold conference on Syrian women\u2019s reality"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) \u2013<\/strong> Women activists in Aleppo on Saturday held the concluding conference of the initiative, <strong>\u201c<\/strong>Power of Decision Through Women\u2019s Voices \u2013 From Advocacy to Influence,\u201d to discuss the realities facing Syrian women and present recommendations aimed at local decision-makers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hiyam Haj Ali, the conference coordinator, told North Press that the event marked the conclusion of an initiative that had brought together women activists from Aleppo over the past year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe are holding the final conference of the \u2018Power of Decision Through Women\u2019s Voices\u2019 initiative, which has brought together women activists in Aleppo over the course of a year, while the practical implementation of the initiative began about six months ago,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Haj Ali, the initiative was implemented through a series of training workshops, dialogue sessions, and the establishment of a women\u2019s network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She explained that the workshops and discussions created direct engagement between members of the women\u2019s network, activists, and decision-makers to address various issues affecting Aleppo, with particular focus on the situation of women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Haj Ali said the conference concluded with a set of recommendations based on the outcomes of those sessions and workshops.
