CENTCOM forces continue to work alongside regional partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cCENTCOM and our partners remain committed to rooting out remaining remnants of ISIS to ensure its enduring defeat,\u201d said Adm. Brad Cooper, CENTCOM commander. \u201cWe will continue to defend the U.S. homeland, our service members, and allies and partners across the region.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ISIS lost its last territorial stronghold in Syria in 2019 following military operations led by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) with support from the US-led Coalition.
