Sources said Israeli soldiers questioned al-Hindawi inside his residence during the raid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No arrests were reported during the operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The raids come two days after Israeli forces entered the village of Saida al-Golan in southern Quneitra countryside and established a temporary checkpoint at the village junction, where pedestrians and passing vehicles were subjected to inspections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Border areas in the countryside of Daraa and Quneitra have witnessed near-daily Israeli military movements and incursions in recent weeks, raising concerns among residents over the growing security presence along the frontier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>By Abdulsalam Khoja<\/strong><\/h2>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>QUNEITRA, Syria (North Press) \u2013 Israeli forces on Wednesday carried out a series of raids on residential homes in the southern countryside of Quneitra, southern Syria, including the interrogation of a local journalist.
