Personnel at the checkpoint stopped passersby, checked identification documents, and conducted inspections before moving further into the village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Video footage circulated by local sources showed Israeli forces operating the checkpoint, stopping civilians and carrying out searches. The footage also showed limited movement of residents and vehicles in the village during the operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The reported incursion comes amid continued tensions along the border areas of southern Syria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Sunday, Israeli forces reportedly fired machine guns toward agricultural plains in the Wadi al-Raqad area within the Yarmouk Basin in western Daraa countryside.
