{"id":138045,"date":"2026-05-31T07:20:33","date_gmt":"2026-05-31T07:20:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=138045"},"modified":"2026-05-31T07:20:35","modified_gmt":"2026-05-31T07:20:35","slug":"euphrates-river-levels-expected-to-stabilize-in-deir-ez-zor-following-flooding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/138045\/","title":{"rendered":"Euphrates River levels expected to stabilize in Deir ez-Zor following flooding"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) \u2013<\/strong> The Emergency Response Committee in Deir ez-Zor Governorate on Sunday said that water levels in the western section of the Governorate are expected to stabilize at a rise of approximately three meters, with a horizontal expansion of about 50 meters, through midday Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Several areas along the banks of the Euphrates River in the governorates of Deir ez-Zor and Raqqa have experienced a significant rise in water levels in recent days, causing substantial material damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a statement published on the Deir ez-Zor Governorate\u2019s Telegram channel, the committee said there are not expected to be any significant additional increases in river levels along the western stretch during the specified period.
