{"id":137748,"date":"2026-05-16T19:00:42","date_gmt":"2026-05-16T19:00:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=137748"},"modified":"2026-05-16T19:00:43","modified_gmt":"2026-05-16T19:00:43","slug":"israeli-forces-enter-several-areas-in-quneitra-countryside","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/137748\/","title":{"rendered":"Israeli forces enter several areas in Quneitra countryside"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press)<\/strong> \u2013 Israeli military forces entered several areas of Quneitra province in southern Syria on Saturday, according to local sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Local sources told North Press that an Israeli patrol consisting of three military vehicles advanced to the outskirts of al-Rafid town in southern Quneitra countryside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The sources said the patrol established a temporary checkpoint in the area and questioned several shepherds before withdrawing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another Israeli force reportedly entered the Mazraat al-Fityan area in southern Quneitra countryside and set up a temporary checkpoint on the al-Asbah\u2013Mazraat al-Fityan road, where soldiers stopped vehicles and searched passersby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a separate incident, an Israeli patrol made up of four military vehicles entered the town of Sida al-Hanout and raided a house, searching it without recording any arrests, according to the sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Local sources also reported that an Israeli military patrol consisting of five vehicles advanced along the \u201cal-Kassarat\u201d road in Jbata al-Khashab, reaching the village of Ain al-Bayda in northern Quneitra countryside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Israeli forces have repeatedly carried out incursions and patrol movements in areas near the Syrian border in Quneitra governorate in recent months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>By Atoun Jan<\/strong><\/h2>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) \u2013 Israeli military forces entered several areas of Quneitra province in southern Syria on Saturday, according to local sources.
