Delegations highlighted the importance of sustained and expanded humanitarian funding, noting that millions remain displaced, food insecurity persists and vital infrastructure remains damaged across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a statement to the Council, the representative of United Kingdom underscored the need for sustained international engagement to bolster Syria\u2019s economic recovery and long-term stability, and welcomed recent diplomatic exchanges aimed at deepening cooperation and addressing humanitarian challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Syrian mission to the United Nations reiterated its call for the Security Council to take immediate action to halt violations of Syria\u2019s territorial integrity, urging an end to what it described as ongoing incursions by foreign forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other Council members stressed the importance of inclusive political processes, protection of human rights and unhindered humanitarian access as essential elements of Syria\u2019s transition.
