The soldiers reportedly stopped and searched civilians passing through the area before withdrawing later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Sunday, similar movements were reported in southern Syria, including two incursions near the village of Jamla in the Yarmouk Basin in western Daraa countryside, as well as another in Quneitra countryside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These developments come amid continued field activity in southern Syria, where intermittent incursions and movements have been recorded in recent periods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>By Atoun Jan<\/strong><\/h2>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) \u2013 Israeli forces carried out a new incursion on Monday into the southern countryside of Quneitra, southwest Syria, according to local sources.
