Government (KRG) said on Monday that the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), General Mazloum Abdi, held a phone call with the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Masrour Barzani, during which both sides stressed the importance of protecting the security of the Kurdistan Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a statement, the KRG said that Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received a phone call from SDF Commander-in-Chief Mazloum Abdi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the statement, the two sides discussed the general situation in the Kurdistan Region and the latest developments and complexities in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both Abdi and Barzani reaffirmed the importance of maintaining
