{"id":135832,"date":"2026-02-25T13:12:32","date_gmt":"2026-02-25T13:12:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=135832"},"modified":"2026-02-25T13:12:36","modified_gmt":"2026-02-25T13:12:36","slug":"families-of-missing-detainees-rally-in-syrias-qamishli-demanding-information-on-their-fate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/135832\/","title":{"rendered":"Families of missing detainees rally in Syria&#8217;s Qamishli demanding information on their fate"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) \u2013<\/strong> Families of missing persons and detainees held by the Syrian government staged on Wednesday a protest in Qamishli city, northeastern Syria, calling for information about the fate of their relatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Protesters carried banners urging the Syrian transitional government and international organizations to intervene immediately to address the detainees\u2019 file and secure their release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Layla Taher, the mother of a missing man, told North Press that her son is detained in Deir Hafer. \u201cI want my voice to reach President Ahmad al-Sharaa and release our sons,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe can no longer endure this.
