{"id":135784,"date":"2026-02-23T17:31:25","date_gmt":"2026-02-23T17:31:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=135784"},"modified":"2026-02-23T17:31:28","modified_gmt":"2026-02-23T17:31:28","slug":"four-syrian-internal-security-members-killed-in-raqqa-attack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/135784\/","title":{"rendered":"Four Syrian internal security members killed in Raqqa attack"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press)<\/strong> \u2013 Syria\u2019s Interior Ministry announced on Monday that four members of its internal security forces were killed and two others injured following an attack targeting a security checkpoint in the countryside of Raqqa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a statement published on its official platforms, the ministry said, \u201cA checkpoint affiliated with the Internal Security Forces in the city of Raqqa was subjected to a terrorist attack, resulting in the martyrdom of four checkpoint members and the injury of two others.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ministry added that security forces managed to \u201cneutralize one member of the attacking cell,\u201d while operations are ongoing to comb the surrounding area in pursuit of remaining assailants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the statement, the incident marks the second attack against internal security personnel in the area within two days.
