Last week, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa\u2019ar said ongoing talks with Damascus had encountered mounting obstacles, noting that the Syrian side had presented new demands that widened the gap between the two parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tensions have also been rising on the Lebanese front. Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Rajji said Beirut had received warning messages indicating Israel\u2019s readiness to launch a broader military operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rajji said Lebanon is intensifying diplomatic efforts to shield the state and its institutions from escalation.
