The suspects are accused of involvement in war crimes against demonstrators in multiple areas of Syria during the previous government\u2019s rule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The correspondent said the force entered the village at dawn, attempting to detain the wanted men. During the operation, an exchange of fire broke out between General Security personnel and the suspects, leading to the death of one officer and injuries among other members of the unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the clashes, General Security deployed significant reinforcements to encircle the village. Units conducted house-to-house searches and detained several young men from families related to the primary suspect, Ribal Ismandar, according to local sources in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Residents reported the presence of checkpoints at the village\u2019s entrances, as well as identity checks conducted throughout the morning.
