{"id":132724,"date":"2025-12-01T09:00:51","date_gmt":"2025-12-01T09:00:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=132724"},"modified":"2025-12-01T09:01:03","modified_gmt":"2025-12-01T09:01:03","slug":"israeli-forces-advance-into-syrias-quneitra-set-up-temporary-post","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/132724\/","title":{"rendered":"Israeli forces advance into Syria&#8217;s Quneitra, set up temporary post"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>QUNEITRA, Syria (North Press) \u2013 <\/strong>An Israeli force advanced on Monday into the southern countryside of Quneitra, southern Syria, where it set up a temporary military post and inspected vehicles and passersby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A local source told North Press that the incursion was carried out using several four-wheel-drive vehicles that entered the town of Saida al-Hanout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Patrol members established a temporary military point on the town\u2019s outskirts, searching cars and individuals and inspecting their identification documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Nov. 28, the town of Beit Jinn was subjected to Israeli shelling following clashes between an Israeli patrol that had entered the area and several residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The incident resulted in the death of 13 people, including women and children, as well as injuries among Israeli soldiers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a related development, a local source from Beit Jinn told North Press that the Israeli army has released one of the three detainees who were arrested during last week\u2019s escalation in the town.
