Residents said emergency teams were seen rushing toward the site shortly after the explosions were heard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the same local sources, an unidentified explosive object fell in the Mezzeh 86 area, killing a woman in her thirties and injuring others. No further details were immediately available regarding the number or condition of the wounded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Syria\u2019s state-run news agency SANA confirmed that \u201can explosion shook the Mezzeh area in Damascus,\u201d adding that authorities were still working to determine the nature of the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile, the pro-government newspaper al-Watan reported that a rocket had fallen on \u201cTal\u2018at Supermarket Fadi Street,\u201d which triggered a broad security mobilization.
