The device was reportedly left behind from earlier bombardments during the years of conflict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">War remnants, including mines and unexploded ordnance, continue to pose a serious threat to civilians across Syria. Children are among the most vulnerable, often encountering such remnants while playing outdoors or working in fields to support their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to humanitarian agencies operating in the region, thousands of people across Syria have been killed or injured by explosive remnants since the conflict began.
