The committee\u2019s mandate also includes investigating assaults and violations against civilians and referring those proven to be involved to the competent judiciary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Committee spokesperson, lawyer Ammar Ezz al-Din, told the state-run Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) that the postponement was due to \u201clogistical and administrative arrangements\u201d and the \u201cshort notice\u201d of the previous announcement, which prevented several media outlets from completing attendance procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ezz al-Din added that the delay aims to ensure proper preparation and allow a greater number of local and international journalists to participate.
