The narcotics were seized, and investigations are ongoing to identify and apprehend all those involved in the operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Nasib border crossing, located on the Syrian-Jordanian frontier, has long been a key commercial gateway but also a known route for narcotics trafficking, particularly of Captagon, a stimulant that has proliferated across the Middle East in recent years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Drug trafficking has become a growing concern for both Syrian authorities and neighboring countries, amid worsening economic conditions and limited border control capacities in southern Syria.
