The discussions focused on procedures to integrate both the factions and the local military police into the official framework of the ministry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This follows a visit by a Syrian Ministry of Interior delegation to Serekaniye in September, during which officials sought to activate the internal security apparatus in the city. At that time, an agreement was reached to register 300 new personnel in the local security system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The security source told North Press that the outcomes of Tuesday\u2019s discussions with the factions remain unclear.
