Independent International Commission of Inquiry on Syria said on Tuesday that the scale of human rights violations and abuses documented in Suwayda Governorate, southern Syria, remains \u201cimmense,\u201d emphasizing that its investigations into ongoing atrocities will continue.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a statement issued on Oct. 27, the Commission announced the conclusion of its second visit to Suwayda and other governorates hosting displaced communities, where team members met residents who shared testimonies of violence, displacement, and abuse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Commission expressed gratitude to those who welcomed its team, describing the access granted as crucial for documenting violations and identifying responsible parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It reaffirmed its commitment to pursue accountability for widespread abuses committed throughout the years of conflict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe scale of violations and abuses is immense,\u201d the Commission said, underscoring the continued suffering of civilians and the urgent need for international efforts to address displacement, insecurity, and impunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The UN-established Commission has documented extensive human rights abuses
