According to eyewitnesses who spoke to North Press, the blast resulted from an improvised explosive device (IED) attached to a police vehicle parked adjacent to the station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sources confirmed that the explosion caused only material damage, with no reported casualties among civilians or police personnel. Nearby buildings and vehicles sustained limited damage due to the force of the blast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No group has claimed responsibility for the incident as of the time of reporting, and the Syrian Ministry of Interior has not issued any official statement regarding the explosion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While no official comments were available, the incident underscores ongoing security challenges facing Syrian authorities in maintaining stability in coastal regions.
