{"id":130434,"date":"2025-10-01T08:54:41","date_gmt":"2025-10-01T08:54:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=130434"},"modified":"2025-10-01T08:54:43","modified_gmt":"2025-10-01T08:54:43","slug":"jordanian-army-arrests-4-syrians-attempting-to-cross-border","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/130434\/","title":{"rendered":"Jordanian army arrests 4 Syrians attempting to cross border"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) \u2013 <\/strong>The Jordanian army announced on Tuesday that its border forces had arrested four Syrian nationals while attempting to illegally cross the border from Syria into Jordan.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a statement, the army said that units from the Northern Military Region foiled the infiltration attempt within their area of responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It added that the border guards applied the rules of engagement, arresting the infiltrators before handing them over to the competent authorities for further investigation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The army reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding Jordan\u2019s borders and preventing any attempts at infiltration or smuggling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This latest arrest follows a similar incident last week, when the Northern Military Region thwarted an attempt to smuggle large quantities of narcotics from Syrian territory.
