{"id":130426,"date":"2025-10-01T08:28:28","date_gmt":"2025-10-01T08:28:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=130426"},"modified":"2025-10-01T08:28:30","modified_gmt":"2025-10-01T08:28:30","slug":"sdfs-abdi-calls-for-inclusive-syria-in-message-to-uk-leaders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/130426\/","title":{"rendered":"SDF&#8217;s Abdi calls for inclusive Syria in message to UK leaders"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>RAQQA, Syria (North Press) \u2013 <\/strong>A senior official of the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) said on Wednesday that they had delivered a message from Commander in Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), Mazloum Abdi, to the British government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Masoud Kasso, member of the SDC&#8217; Relations Office in London, told North Press that the message expressed the SDF\u2019s firm commitment to peace and its vision for a united and democratic Syria that belongs to all its citizens, free from exclusion or domination.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The message was conveyed during a meeting held on Sep. 29 between an SDC delegation and senior British officials on the sidelines of the British Labour Party\u2019s annual conference, attended by Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Defense Secretary John Healey.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kasso said that Hassan Mohammed Ali, co-chair of the SDC\u2019s Public Relations Office, personally delivered Abdi\u2019s message to the British Prime Minister and Defense Secretary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Kasso, the message urged the Syrian transitional government to fully respect the provisions of the March 10 agreement without selectivity or misinterpretation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the conference, Mohammed Ali also delivered a lecture on the Syrian situation, attended by the former Minister of Middle Eastern Affairs and several members of the British Parliament.
