{"id":130305,"date":"2025-09-28T07:55:43","date_gmt":"2025-09-28T07:55:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=130305"},"modified":"2025-09-28T07:55:45","modified_gmt":"2025-09-28T07:55:45","slug":"aanes-equips-kidney-dialysis-center-in-syrias-hasakah-with-new-machines","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/130305\/","title":{"rendered":"AANES equips kidney dialysis center in Syria\u2019s Hasakah with new machines"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) \u2013<\/strong> The Health Board of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) said on Sunday that it equipped the kidney dialysis center in the city of Hasakah, northeastern Syria, with four new dialysis machines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The board noted that the new equipment aims to improve the quality of medical services provided to patients and ease the pressure on the center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hussein Amin, Director of Health in Hasakah, told North Press that the kidney dialysis center in Hasakah had only five machines before the fall of the former Syrian government. \u201cNow, the center has been supplied with four additional machines,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Amin explained that before the fall of the former regime, the center was run by the Syrian Health Directorate and was in poor condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt had only five machines, forcing patients to reduce their dialysis sessions from three hours or more to around two hours due to overcrowding and the lack of equipment,&#8221; he added. &#8220;The center used to receive about 110 patients, with nearly 700 dialysis sessions per month.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He indicated that \u201cthe new machines provided by the Health Board have raised the total number of working devices to nine, allowing the center to better meet patients\u2019 needs and increase the number of monthly dialysis sessions to around 1,005.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe duration of each session is now between three and four hours, depending on the patient\u2019s condition, which has had a positive impact on their health and overall well-being,\u201d Amin noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He pointed out that future plans include adding two more machines, bringing the total to 11, to accommodate a larger number of patients and further improve service quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Health Board of the AANES currently operates three kidney dialysis centers located in Hasakah, Qamishli, and Derik (al-Malikiyah).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Reporting by Samer Yassin<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Editing by Jwan Shekaki<\/strong><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) \u2013 The Health Board of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) said on Sunday that it equipped the kidney dialysis center in the city of Hasakah, northeastern Syria, with four new dialysis machines.
