The summit was convened by Qatar following an Israeli strike on September 9 in Doha, an attack that drew widespread condemnation across Arab and Islamic circles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the Qatari news agency QNA, the preparatory meeting will review the draft final statement of the summit, which is expected to condemn the Israeli targeting of Doha and reject violations of Qatar\u2019s sovereignty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting will also emphasize Arab and Islamic solidarity in confronting Israeli escalation and seeks to formulate a unified position reflecting Arab-Islamic unity.
