Twelve vehicles reportedly stationed in the center of Saysoon town, while six others took positions at the Jamlah garrison near the valley edge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The source added that Israeli forces carried out search operations in a number of houses in the town, citing the alleged presence of weapons. No arrests were reported during the operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Saysoon, located in western Daraa, lies near the border triangle between Syria, Jordan, and Israel, an area that has witnessed heightened military tensions in recent years. The region is considered strategically sensitive due to its proximity to the occupied Golan Heights and recurring reports of cross-border operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The recent Israeli advance is part of a series of security incidents in southern Syria where Israeli forces have expanded patrols and surveillance in areas said to be linked to armed groups allegedly affiliated with Iran.
