He further noted that \u201call nationalist and Islamist ideologies in the region have failed,\u201d while asserting that Syria is entering what he called a \u201crenaissance on all levels.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Syrian leader also rejected foreign interference in Lebanon\u2019s internal affairs and dismissed the notion of a \u201criver of fire separating Syria and Lebanon.\u201d At the same time, he praised Iraq\u2019s political and economic stance toward Syria, highlighting the importance of bilateral ties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The president\u2019s remarks come amid ongoing debates over governance and political rights in Syria\u2019s diverse regions. The Kurdish-led Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES), backed by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), continues to govern large areas in the northeast, where local demands have focused on decentralization, political recognition, and security stability.
