The violence continued into Sunday morning, disrupting the fragile ceasefire that had been in place since recent de-escalation efforts began.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In its statement, the Interior Ministry said, \u201cSince the beginning of the ceasefire agreement in Suwayda, the Syrian state\u2014through its military, security, and civilian institutions\u2014has spared no effort in maintaining the truce in order to restore stability across the governorate.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ministry added that it had worked to ensure the safety of civilians and the gradual return of basic services and daily life in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, the ministry accused what it described as \u201crebel groups\u201d of undermining those efforts.
