This prompted immediate coordination with local dignitaries to prevent escalation and maintain stability, he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a statement shared on the official channels of the Homs Governorate, al-Naasan emphasized that the pursuit of those responsible is ongoing and that all perpetrators will be brought to justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Syrian Ministry of Interior confirmed that the attack occurred just hours after the Internal Security Directorate in Talkalakh had arrested &#8220;a number of outlaws&#8221; and uncovered a weapons depot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ministry said the seized cache included Katyusha rockets, small arms, and various types of ammunition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>By Abdulsalam Khoja<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) \u2013 The Internal Security forces announced on Tuesday that two people were killed and others injured in an attack by unidentified gunmen in the western countryside of Homs, central Syria.
