The post included a seemingly celebratory comment directed at Jaafari, describing him as the \u201clion of diplomacy\u201d and calling on followers to send congratulations to the embassy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The embassy responded promptly, declaring its Telegram page had been compromised. \u201cThe account was subjected to hacking, and the post regarding Ambassador Bashar Jaafari did not originate from the embassy\u2019s staff,\u201d the official statement said. The embassy added it has requested Telegram\u2019s parent company to investigate the breach and disclose the perpetrators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite the embassy\u2019s denial of the Telegram post\u2019s legitimacy, the reassignment itself has been confirmed.
