According to the official, the detainees were described as former government personnel and military elements who had refused to settle their status through government-established reconciliation centers.<strong><br><\/strong> The source stated that security forces recovered light and medium weaponry from those arrested, alleging that these individuals were involved in destabilizing the region. \u201cThese operations aim to ensure stability in the area by neutralizing threats linked to the former Syrian government,\u201d the security official said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The operation comes amid heightened security measures in southern Idlib. Reinforcements were reportedly deployed after two members of the local defense forces were killed on a road between Maarat Harma and al-Habit last week.<strong><br><\/strong> This is not the first such operation in the region.
