{"id":122438,"date":"2025-02-25T08:57:58","date_gmt":"2025-02-25T08:57:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=122438"},"modified":"2025-02-25T08:58:00","modified_gmt":"2025-02-25T08:58:00","slug":"unidentified-gunmen-kill-general-security-member-in-deir-ez-zor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/122438\/","title":{"rendered":"Unidentified gunmen kill General Security member in Deir ez-Zor"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) \u2013<\/strong> Unidentified gunmen killed on Monday a member of the General Security forces of the caretaker government in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A security source told North Press that two unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire with an automatic weapon, targeting Nour Zain al-Abidine in front of his home in the village of al-Dwair in southeast of Deir ez-Zor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The attack resulted in Zain al-Abidine\u2019s immediate death, while the gunmen quickly fled the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The source further noted that al-Abidine had recently joined the General Security forces under the Syrian Ministry of Interior.
