{"id":121702,"date":"2025-02-02T13:01:10","date_gmt":"2025-02-02T13:01:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=121702"},"modified":"2025-02-02T13:01:53","modified_gmt":"2025-02-02T13:01:53","slug":"militants-of-military-operations-command-arrest-3-kurds-in-syrias-homs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/121702\/","title":{"rendered":"Militants of Military Operations Command arrest 3 Kurds in Syria&#8217;s Homs"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) \u2013<\/strong> Militants linked to the Military Operations Command arrested three Kurds from the city of Qamishli, northeastern Syria, as they were returning from Damascus, one of their relatives said on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Azaldin Saleh, the brother of one of the detainees, told North Press that Lazgin Saleh, Fadi Omar, and Nobar Jankir were stopped on Jan. 31, at a checkpoint at the entrance to the city of Homs while returning from medical appointments in Damascus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Saleh, the detainees&#8217; wives recounted that militants stopped them at the checkpoint, forced them to return home, and took their husbands to an unknown security facility for interrogation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cTheir phones, along with their husbands&#8217; phones and personal belongings, were confiscated, and the men were beaten,\u201d Saleh said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As of now, there is no information about the whereabouts of the detainees or the entity responsible for their arrest.
