DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) \u2013<\/strong> Gunmen loyal to the former regime killed on Saturday a member of the Military Operations Command and injured two others in an ambush in Latakia, western Syria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The gunmen carried out the ambush on the M4 Highway, near the village of al-Mukhtariya, and targeted three members of the Command, Syria’s state-run news agency SANA stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the fall of the Assad regime, the Military Operations Command in Syria launched several military campaigns in the countryside of Latakia, with the aim of capturing former regime elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
