The helicopter departed shortly afterward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Witnesses reported that Israeli soldiers entered the military site and left the area approximately 20 minutes later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the operation, the helicopter reportedly flew southward. The reasons behind the landing and operation remain unclear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The Times of Israel<\/em> suggested that Tel Aviv might be leveraging the current situation in Syria to locate the burial site of its infamous spy Eli Cohen, as well as missing Israeli soldiers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The issue of Eli Cohen\u2019s remains has recently resurfaced in both Hebrew and Arab media. Cohen, an Israeli spy, was executed by Damascus in 1965. Nearly six decades later, Israel continues its efforts to retrieve his remains from Syria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cohen\u2019s legacy as one of Israel\u2019s most celebrated spies has kept his story in the spotlight.
