He stated that SDF forces are facing intense attacks from multiple fronts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Sunday, Kurdish forces engaged in clashes with Turkish-backed armed opposition factions, aka the Syrian National Army (SNA), in the town of Tel Rifaat. The SNA factions later claimed to have taken control of the town, severing the road linking Aleppo with its northern countryside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This development has effectively besieged thousands of displaced individuals residing in five camps, as well as in numerous villages and towns in the north of Aleppo, locally known as Shahba region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Abdi explained that with the collapse of the Syrian government forces and its allies, the SDF intervened to establish a humanitarian corridor between eastern Syria, Aleppo, and the Tel Rifaat area to protect the people from potential massacres.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He emphasized that the SDF is actively working to coordinate with all relevant parties in Syria to ensure the safety of displaced individuals.
