dies in government prison in Syria\u2019s Hasakah"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) \u2013 <\/strong>A lawyer died on Tuesday in a prison of the Syrian government forces in the government-held neighborhood in the city of Hasakah in Northeast Syria.&nbsp; <strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An exclusive source close to the government\u2019s Criminal Security Branch, said lawyer Thamer Habib al-Talla\u2019a was in custody at the branch for two weeks before he died.&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He told North Press that while the lawyer was in custody, his health condition deteriorated and that the prison administration rejected to transfer him to Damascus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The reason of the arrest of the lawyer, who hails from al-Baggara tribe, was unknown, according to the source.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The source indicated that there was rage among members of the tribe towards the Police Chief and the head of the Criminal Security Branch due to the refusal to transfer
